Project Literacy of Greater Bergen County welcomes those who are having problems funtioning in an environment where speaking,
reading and writing English is essential for success. We've found that it is not necessary for our tutors to know their student's
native language in order to teach them English and give them the confidence to speak to their children's teachers, discuss medical problems with a doctor,
read to their kids in English and generally be able to do what the rest of us take for granted.
Our ESL students come from all over the world, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. If the student is committed
to learning and understanding English, our tutors are just as committed to helping them.
